A chevron spring is a V-shaped (chevron-profile) rubber-metal laminated spring element used in railway bogie primary suspension systems. The angled rubber layers simultaneously provide vertical spring support and lateral wheelset guidance, making them a compact and mechanically efficient solution for modern bogie designs. Our chevron springs are manufactured to EN 45545-2 HL2/HL3 fire safety requirements and to EN 13749 bogie load case standards, making them directly applicable to US passenger rail and metro transit procurement under FTA guidelines.
