The Komatsu PC200 is one of the most popular 20-tonne excavators in the world, with hundreds of thousands of units operating across US construction sites, highway projects, and utility work. The PC200-7 and PC200-8 variants are especially prevalent in North America, powered by the Komatsu SAA6D107E-1 and SAA6D107E-3 engines respectively.
Engine mounts on the PC200 series use a two-point (front and rear) isolation system. The front mount uses part 17A-54-46120 and the rear mount uses 17A-54-46130. Both must be replaced as a set to maintain balanced engine isolation. Mismatched stiffness between front and rear mounts causes asymmetric engine rocking and elevated vibration transmission to the operator cab.

The PC200-7 (Tier 3 emission standard) and PC200-8 (Tier 4 interim) share the same engine mount interface, meaning part 17A-54-46120 and 17A-54-46130 are direct-fit for both variants. The mounting boss dimensions and bolt pattern are unchanged across the PC200-7 and PC200-8 series. However, the PC200-8M0 (Tier 4 final) introduced a revised engine package that may require verification — contact our sales team with the machine serial number for confirmation.
For the larger PC300 and PC360 platform, part 195-54-78412 is the engine cushion block used at the mounting interface. The PC300-7 and PC300-8 are common in US pipeline, heavy construction, and road building applications. Engine mount replacement on the PC300 is typically performed at 4,000–5,000 hour intervals or at first signs of excessive cab vibration or visible rubber degradation.
